AlbumLink is built to run on the minimum number of cookies required to operate.
- Strictly necessary — authentication & session: set by our backend to keep you signed in, protect against CSRF and preserve your session across pages. Without these, the Service cannot function.
- Strictly necessary — album access: a short-lived token is stored in your browser after you enter a valid PIN so you don't have to re-enter it while viewing the album.
- Preferences (local storage): remembers UI choices such as audio on/off, flip speed, fit-mode and album background theme so your next visit feels the same. This is stored on your device only.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics profiles. We do not sell data collected via cookies.
3. Third-party cookies
Some pages may load resources from trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, storage, email delivery, payment processors). These providers may set their own strictly necessary cookies to secure their services. They act as our sub-processors under our Privacy Policy.
4. How long cookies stay
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies (e.g. "remember me") remain for up to 30 days unless you sign out.
